Our new 36 foot deep sea sportfisherman, is recognized as the premier multi-passenger Naples Deep Sea Sportfishing Charter Boat in southwest Florida. We have been operating private deep sea fishing charters for groups of 6 and up to 12 passengers for 23 years.

The Alabama is also equipped with the latest in electronics including two fishfinders and two global positioning devices to make certain that we are always where the fish are. Onboard you will find plenty of comfortable seating as well as a private restroom. When you are back at the Naples City Boat Dock the day’s catch is cleaned and bagged at no charge.
What type of fish do we catch?
Although we specialize in catching Grouper and Snapper, we also have many sunken ship wrecks that we built to fish for Cobia, Permit, Barracuda, and Jewfish which are catch and release only. Many of these spots are known only to us and the catches often reflect that.

Mangrove snapper fishing on our offshore fishing charters remains very strong. Charter fishing parties aboard the Alabama going out into the Gulf of Mexico are very pleased with our consistent catches of mangroves, gag grouper and porgies. On most charters we are fishing very light line using small hooks and bait to trick the fish as the waters are clearing from the last cold front. Spring is beginning to take hold in Naples and we expect king and Spanish mackerel to begin showing up along the coast this week. Stay tuned for an update very soon on the mackerel arrival.

Deep sea fishing charters aboard the Alabama, Naples, FL, have all the amenities of a large boat coupled with the speed of a smaller one. Our fishing parties find plenty of room , comfortable space and lots of area to spread out and fish. Mangrove snapper fishing in Naples remains the hot fish right now as the water remains unseasonably cool. We are also catching amberjack and a few kings on the full day charters. Passengers going out on full days are rewarded with nice catches of mangroves up to seven pounds. We also caught a couple of tripletails last week just to add to the creel. Fishing should be very good this coming week as we get the best weather forecast of the new year.
Snapper Fishing Stays Strong!
As we move from February to March here in Naples things continue as they have been for several weeks. The weather in Naples continues to be challenging, with cold fronts occurring at a greater rate than is typical. The silver lining in the weather is that the wind causes the water to churn and remain unseasonably cool, resulting in red hot mangrove snapper fishing. We are getting limits of mangroves on all of our full day charters in addition to king mackerel and Amberjack. The sun is very high in the sky and south Florida waters will surely warm very rapidly in the next couple of weeks. Fishing is good and will be even better in March and April here in Naples and Marco Island, Florida.
