As February sun continues to shine like spring the waters around Naples are finally beginning to warm up from an exceptionally cold winter. Fishing charters going out into the Gulf of Mexico are reaping the benefits of calm seas and warm sun as the fishing continues to be red hot. Limits of mangrove snapper are being taken regularly right now on full day charters and grouper are also feeding like it is summer. We may get one more cold front before spring but as far as the fish in Naples are concerned spring has already sprung. King and Spanish mackerel will be moving into our are any day now and deep sea fishing will only get better in and around Naples and Marco Island Florida.
